Introductory Course

An 11-part introductory
course in the application
of wisdom to daily life
 

The introductory course consists of 11 weekly evenings. Please have a look at the Agenda for more information about dates, places and course fee.

How to access underlying stillness and peace in all circumstances.
bulletA practical approach to self-knowledge.
The importance of an open and quiet mind.
bulletThe different levels of awareness.
The difference between knowledge and information.
bulletThe nature of justice and injustice.
The full manifestation of potential.
bulletThe nature of reason.
The use of reason to aid justice and remove injustice. The need to experience deeper levels of being through stillness.
bulletThe nature of beauty.
The higher states of consciousness.
bulletIn truth, who am I?
The nature of the physical body, the mind and the heart. The power of attention.
bulletFreedom from the cycle of pleasure and pain.
The three fundamental forces of nature.
bulletLetting go of worry, doubt and fear.
bulletCourse summary.

For those wishing to pursue their studies beyond the introductory course, a syllabus of three terms is offered each year. A simple method of meditation is also offered during the second year.
